Neurosage – Stimulating the Brain Through Movement, Light, and Sound
At BodyLink, we use Neurosage as part of our Movement Integration Therapy programme to support children and teens with challenges related to regulation, focus, balance, coordination, and emotional wellbeing.

This non-invasive, screen-based therapy uses a combination of light, sound, and guided movement to gently stimulate the brain and nervous system. By targeting key brain areas involved in attention, sensory processing, and motor control, Neurosage helps improve communication between the brain and body—leading to greater calm, improved focus, better postural control, and more regulated emotional responses.
Whether your child experiences difficulty sitting still, struggles with sensory overwhelm, or finds it hard to stay focused and emotionally balanced, Neurosage offers a safe, engaging way to support their neurological development and long-term functional growth.
How does it work?
Neurosage stimulates key areas of the brain responsible for movement, emotion, attention, and sensory processing. Through carefully designed visual and auditory games, it encourages the brain to release more of its natural “feel good” chemicals—dopamine and serotonin. These neurochemicals play a crucial role in:

-
Motor control and body coordination
-
Emotional regulation and mood stability
-
Attention and cognitive focus
-
Reducing pain sensitivity and stress

By helping the brain produce these naturally (without medication or invasive treatment), Neurosage supports long-term neurological development and balance.
Why do we use it at BodyLink?
Many children we see show signs of nervous system immaturity or retained primitive reflexes, which can affect how they move, think, and feel. Neurosage offers a fun, screen-based approach that blends movement, sound, and light therapy—helping to ‘retrain the brain’ while keeping kids engaged. It's especially helpful for children with:

-
ADHD or attention struggles
-
Emotional shutdown or meltdowns
-
Poor coordination or balance
-
Learning challenges
-
Sensory overwhelm
-
Low motivation or fatigue
Safe, engaging, and science-backed
Neurosage is grounded in decades of neuroscience research and uses a process called Systemic Neural Adaptation—helping the brain and body adapt to healthy input over time. This approach avoids the risks of medication and focuses on supporting the body’s natural ability to regulate and thrive.
